The Pietranera 2018 Magnum is a Terre Siciliane IGP born only from Zibibbo grapes, in the rough and dry lands of the island of Pantelleria. An innovative version compared to the typical local production, a Zibibbo able to transmit intense aromatic and mineral notes and complex charisma.
The Pietranera 2018 Magnum was born on volcanic soil, terraced, from a scrupulous harvest that starts in the first weeks of September. After careful selection of the bunches, the grapes are pressed to start cold maceration which lasts 24 hours. After pressing, the fermentation process begins in steel tanks at controlled temperature.
After a period of refinement of at least 6 months, a white wine of classic intense straw yellow is born. The nose perceives aromatic scents full of citrus and floral hints; on the palate the taster discovers a pleasant freshness with a hint of bitter aftertaste.
