Soria Frappato 2019

Sorìa is a fascinating red wine from Firriato that is the result of a harmony between traditional and modern production techniques, aimed at a new interpretation of the ancient native Sicilian grape variety, Frappato.

Sorìa Frappato stands out above all for the versatility with which it can be served at the table. Dishes to try it with are baked lasagne with meat sauce and veal fillet with wild mushrooms.

With this label, the Firriato winery gives a modern style to Frappato, in a version that best expresses the territory and climate of the area from which it comes. With fresh and vinous, often mineral notes, Frappato Sorìa imposes itself on the nose and continues to envelop it through its fruity scents of morello cherries, blueberries and other small red fruits. This is after having already conquered the eye with its wonderful bright ruby red colour. Savoury and saline sensations dominate in the mouth, with soft tannins.

With excellent persistence, Sorìa Frappato evokes the blueberry and raspberry notes of its bouquet. The recommended serving temperature is 14-16 °C.
