It was born in Sicily, in the area of Campobello di Licata (AG), where the flourishing collaboration between territory and climate favours an accurate growth of grapes a particular selection called V12, propagated starting from an ancient biotype of Perricone. Fondirò is an interesting wine with a Sicilian character obtained with a particular selection of Perricone grapes that turns into an intense and very soft sip, full of sweet sensations. The organoleptic peculiarity of this red wine from Azienda Agricola G. Milazzo derives from the ripening of the grapes in a context that favours their polyphenolic richness defining characteristic features of the terroir.
Showing a sustained dark purple colour with violet reflections, the Fondirò wine releases sweet and complex fruity scents among which the notes of blackberry, blueberry, coconut and vanilla stand out; the round taste reveals a texture of ripe but never aggressive tannins. Confirming its sweetness, Fondirò pleasantly balances the discreet acidity of the vine. Served at an optimal temperature of 16-18 °C, it is ideal with grilled and roasted meat, game dishes with a delicate flavour and medium-aged cheeses.
The Azienda Agricola G.
