Merlot Bio 2019

The fascination of a Merlot vinified in purity, meets the territories of the Veneto region, to give rise to a red wine that can easily become an everyday companion at the table.

Merlot Bio 2019 from the Società Cooperativa Ottomarzo winery is an organic wine typical of the Valpolicella hills. Harvested in mid-September from Merlot vineyards, the production process begins with fermentation of the must for a week in contact with the skins, separation of the marc and further fermentation for a further 20 days. Ageing takes place in steel barrels for 5 months plus a further 2 months resting in the bottle, which will give life to the Bio Veneto IGT certified wine.

The Merlot Ottomarzo presents itself to the taster with a ruby red appearance carved by violet flashes. On the nose, aromas linked to red and dark berries immediately stand out; on the palate, the taste is warm and soft, enveloping the palate with its harmony, enhanced by a great balance in the tannic texture. A red goblet to pair with mature cheeses, red meats, game, boiled and roasted meats.
