It is the most representative wine of the Ornellaia estate. It bears its name and preserves its passion and know-how.

Ornellaia is a red wine with great character; it stands out for its aromatic complexity, richness and intensity which, at the table, exalt long-cooked meats such as braised meats, stews and stewed meat. It is also excellent with mature cheeses. With an intense ruby red colour, Ornellaia is powerful to the eye and not only. It amazes nose and palate with incomparable qualities: notes of black berry fruit meet those balsamic and spicy in a complex aroma; with refinement it gives the mouth an exceptional tannic texture and, on the finish, surprises with a firm sensation and, again, with finely spicy notes.

The Ornellaia wine is the result of meticulous attention to quality. From the harvesting of the grapes to the refinement, each phase is the work of expert hands and minds who, with great skill, create an all-Italian excellence, recognized by great world experts.

This vintage is a great version of the label, born in a balanced harvest season: Ornellaia 2015 is a balanced, almost textbook red.
