Rocca di Frassinello 2018

Rocca di Frassinello is the first label of the Tuscan company, whose name it bears. A wine that expresses the Bordeaux soul through a great Italian-French project with which Castellare di Castellina, of which Rocca di Frassinello is part, joins Les Domaines Baron di Rothschild-Lafite.

Intense and elegant, Rocca di Frassinello is the right red to enhance the flavours of red meats, roasts, game and mature cheeses.

Produced in the Maremma region of Tuscany, Rocca di Frassinello is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot bred in very low-yield vineyards so that the quality and concentration of the fruit is favoured. It is matured in barriques for 14 months.

The result is a red wine with garnet-coloured highlights, fruity on the nose and pleasantly spicy. In the mouth it suggests a deep, lively taste with good balance.

The suggested serving temperature for Rocca di Frassinello 2015 is between 18 and 20 °C.
