A Nero d'Avola of excellence from Baglio del Cristo di Campobello, Lu Patri 2016 is offered in a 150 cl magnum and wooden box format. A wine clearly distinguished by its depth and roundness, Lu Patri is the ideal red for grilled meat, chicken with peppers and game.
The strong character of this Nero d'Avola derives from its grapes, as well as from the terroir, and from the way they are processed: harvested by hand in small crates, after careful selection, they are dispersed and pressed very softly with continuous pumping over.
Lu Patri has an impenetrable ruby red colour. The nose suggests balsamic notes, aromatic herbs and fruity hints of blackberry and black cherry; on the palate it is immediately round and soft, complex, warm and enveloping. As an excellent Nero d'Avola, it conquers for its persistent taste, to which is added a good savouriness.
An authentic and indigenous wine from the Sicilian territory, Lu Patri is among the iconic labels of Baglio del Cristo di Campobello and of local oenology in general, which is becoming more and more established and respectable on the international scene.
