Bukkuram Padre Della Vigna 2020

Bukkuram Father Della Vigna is the quintessence of Pantelleria's passiti. To produce it De Bartoli learned the secrets from the old local farmers on how grapes dried in the sun could become a magic for the palate. In the vineyards in Contrada Bukkuram the harvest of the Zibibbo grapes begins in the second week of August, but it is only half of them: it is the part of the harvest that is left to dry in the sun for about three weeks. The remaining grapes, on the other hand, still ripen on the plant until the beginning of September.
After careful and rather long processing in the cellar comes out Bukkuram Padre Della Vigna, which is aged for thirty months in French oak barriques and six more in steel. The result is a perfectly harmonious raisin wine, a sweet wine excellent to enjoy at the end of a meal or to accompany dark chocolate for long meditation, served at the ideal serving temperature between 12 and 16 degrees.
